Chhaava has taken the box office by storm with a collection of Rs. 116 crore in just three days. The last 45 minutes of the film are amazing, and the climax is making everyone emotional. Recently, Vicky kaushal took to Instagram to share a video of a child getting emotional after watching Chhaava. In the video, we can see the kid is crying with a hand on his heart.
Vicky shared the video, and wrote, “Hamari sabse badi kamaai! Proud of you beta… wish I could give you a hug. Thank you everyone for your love and emotions. We wished for Shambhu Raaje’s story to reach every household in the world… and to see that happening is our greatest victory. #CHHAAVA IN CINEMAS.”
Earlier, Vicky had shared a video in which a couple of men were puring milk on the posters of the film, and chanting, “Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Ki Jai.”
Surely, Chhaava has brought some relief to Bollywood this year. Till now, none of the releases could become a hit at the box office (Sky Force was an average grosser). But now, it looks like Chhaava will be 2025’s first hit.
Chhaava Box Office Collection
Chhaava in its first weekend has collected Rs. 116.50 crore. The movie had taken a bumper opening at the box office with a collection of Rs. 31 crore. On its day 2, it showed a jump and collected Rs. 37 crore, and on Sunday, there was a huge jump, and Chhaava minted Rs. 48.50 crore.
Now, all eyes are on today’s (Monday) collection. If the film gets a double digit number today, then by the end of week one, we can expect the movie to cross Rs. 150 crore mark. So, let’s wait and watch.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles.
